I was about to upload a video of my own, but yeah, once you learn how to exploit the Ice mechanics and no-bonk badge, Train Rush isn't too hard. You're even given a checkpoint once you reach the halfway mark.
I just beat Dead Bird Studio without jumping, so for the 3 other Time Pieces, I guess you'll just have to improvise.
So I've done the 4 Time Pieces thing without jumping. Here's the places I did them at:
- the required Train Rush in Chapter 2
- Chapter 1 Act 1
- Chapter 1 Act 5: Cheating the Race
- Chapter 2 Act 1
That last one can get extremely tricky in some parts, but it is doable without pressing the jump button.
picture perfect is really easy, 3 of the endorsements are on ground level, and there are plenty of buildings short enough to reach with the springs. Just avoid touching any wires

Activate your hat ability, but deactivate it a split second later, just before you begin to fall. Then, dive. It's a bit tricky to learn but easy to pull off when you get it down
I keep getting a weird glitch where when I try and do chapter 1 act 1, it registers the mustache girl jumping as hat kid jumping, so it fails. I stood perfectly still too and it failed as soon as the mustache girl jumped..

When she first appears or later down the line? If it's later down the line, just ignore her after the first encounter. Use the stairs, turn around, and dash into the courtyard where the time piece is.
The Ice Hat exploit feels like a bug that the developers accidentally left in, like wave-dashing in Smash Bros Melee. How would you know how to do it unless someone showed you? And just like in the professional Melee scene, apparently this glitch is a "Game Mechanic" that you need to master to stand a chance.
I'm just saying, if only there was a badge or hat that could simulate a proper jump, but with some mechanic like lack of a double jump for increased launch height. That way the rest of your move pool is basically intact, but you need to learn how to use a different jump mechanic. Then the no-jump challenge would feel like a proper challenge.
I don't mind the ice hat jump as a main tool for challenges as long as it's at least hinted to you in-game that you that you can do such thing.

Well, the contract does say no jumping, guess it doesn't matter who does it, which is stupid.
FFS Train Rush No Jump is the bane of my hand. I need to redo it tomorrow cuz this is just...

Snatcher's hint for the no jump candle has him specifically mention the ice cap's abilities i believe
